This virtual instructor-led training was created for healthcare workers at Unity Hospitals. In order to meet OSHA requirements, all healthcare workers must complete Bloodborne Pathogen compliance training every year. This course will enable the healthcare workers at Unity Hospitals to be protected from risks and stay safe, along with earning their certification. By the end of this course, healthcare workers will know what bloodborne pathogens are, how they enter the body, work practices that reduce or eliminate the risk of exposure, and procedures to follow if exposure occurs.
